The path to courage is often fraught with tough lessons. The Kaiila brave would start at age 7 to pick up the bow and to learn his place among men...to someday become the powerful and many couped Paha Akictas, or Ridge warriors. They were a group, much like a pack..a pack of learning growing boys, on their way to manhood, this was a fierce journey and a fun one as well, and at the age of 13 full turns of the great Wi, would they seek out a vision....
I put this video up so that awareness can be made as to the real children of the Lakota. The Looks Twice family, were students of mine in Wounded Knee, so this video means much to me and I hope you will understand how amazing the children of the Lakota are. I see in him a bit of Standing Bull one of our young braves, but a young brave in a new world.....
